I would refer to the Bodhi Linux forums. There should be a package that you can install to add features that are available from Bodhi. That is about the best advice I can offer, sorry!

how do I add the profiles that bodhilinux has? Ive been using bodhi forever on my netbook, switched to ubuntu 12.10 on my main computer and finally was able to install e17. Im just out the profiles now?

This worked for the error regarding changing background
sudo apt-get install libedje-bin libqedje0a libqzion0a

It sure does. Tested with Ubuntu 12-04, Ubuntu 12.10, and Kubuntu 12.04, as stated in the article.

Logout of Enlightenment 17, then use LightDM to change your default session back to Unity. When finished you can log back in to the Unity desktop.
$ sudo apt-get purge e17
You can then use the command above to remove e17 completely.

Excellent information, thank you for the news. I have also noticed that the applications menu is not populated. If we keep this up I will need to write an article just about the bugs and fixes! I still love E 17 regardless.

To get hybernation and suspend to work,
Edit: /etc/enlightenment/sysaction.conf

In the conf it should be the following:

/user/sbin/pm-hibernate
/usr/sbin/pm-suspend

I use it for few hours and here is what I saw.If I´m login as normal user suspend,hibernate… doesn´t work.Only logout and lock work as it should.Also there is no terminology (E17 terminal).Why is that?I´m not able to add picture as wallpaper because of conversion error.That is strange because in Bodhi that works as it should.

I will be posting a full Enlightenment 17 feature preview very soon, so thank you very much for the information. That is one very important feature that must be available somehow.
