To access your menu try right-clicking on an empty spot on the Xfce 4 desktop. There is also a menu that can be found in your top panel in the latest versions as well.

This time I will look at the default LXDE menu and how to customize it to your liking. The LXDE main menu is located inside the bottom panel and uses a very simple layout. The menu is provided by the LXPanel package.

Inside the menu you can find several categories which contain launchers for all of your installed applications. You can also find all of your settings dialogs. There is also an option to log out of the desktop.

Xfce users can also customize their desktop menus to add their own contents. This can be done manually by editing a few files, or using the LXMenuEditor tool.

Graphical Configuration

Although the LXMED tool can be used to customize the menu it is not actually a part of the Xfce desktop, it comes from the LXDE project, but the menus follow the same standards so it should still work.
